Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is best among all the other IITs - interdisciplinary courses, with full flexibility of doing specialisations and minorsAcademics have improved significantly, it is a still a bit behind other old gen IITs, but in the recent years, IITJ has emerged as AI school hubFaculties are very helpful, although there are certain faculties, who are a bit difficult, but overall they are easy in terms of grading.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are among the best in all the 2nd gen IITs. Every year, the placements crosses the 90% marks. All the industry giants participate in the campus placements. Apart from placements. student also opt for higher studies in some of the reputed universities abroad.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There is option of scholarship for economically weaker section students, other than that, there is no special scholarship from the college end.Fees is a bit overcharged, but it is the case with all the IITs, and we have to adhere to IIT fee structure.Campus jobs is a big plus point for the institute. There have been a regular placement of above 90% students since past three years with CSE placements touching 100%.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. There are clubs for every society, be it dramatics, dance, music, film making etc. Hostel has single room with AC in every room, and there is centralized AC in every department. Apart from that, there are 4 major fests every year in the college.
