Remarks
It's a known fact that OU is one of the renowned universities of the state. Apart from that it's located in a place which makes it more comfortable and convenient for any student to pursue their studies, career building courses etc. alongside regular course curriculum. If you ask me some good or bad aspects specifically then I would say it differs from person to person. First you need to know why and what's the course(like engineering branch) you are willing to join, and plan accordingly for entrance(EAMCET for B.E, GATE/PGCET for M.E), admission(check last year rank cutoff for more understanding) etc. I personally have both good and bad experiences, education is good, faculty support students, good environment but I believe still there is a necessity for improving the laboratories because what we're studying now are almost obsolete in the current industries. So there's a need of advancement in specially practical engineering area and it's the same scenario in almost every engineering college. Yeah! So that's it.All the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses I feel needs some improvements. Should include the subjects that are most important for the industries in the coming years. Faculty is good. Rest of things are more or less similar as in every engineering college. But one thing because it's a university you don't find any push from their end, you gotta do it yourself and make things work out for you in your own defined ways.
Placement Experience
Almost no placements or atleast no core placements for the master's program students at our college. But for bachelor's there are good options I believe. Anyways after the pandemic I can't really guess how the upcoming situations would be like
Campus Life
Good. It's more about self. And if you got good friends then it would a great place. It's location and everything are good, within reach for any/ every need. Because I'm from engineering campus no much extra curricular activities I've noticed in our Masters program. But workshops etc are conducted.
Admission
GATE 2018 - 400
