Entrance Preview

There were no entrance exams. I got 93.75% in class 12 and secured seat in Ethiraj. It was a wonderful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a very interesting curriculum. It is a mixture of both easy and tough subjects. The highlight of this course is the 1 month internship at the end of the second year of study. The student gets to choose a company of her choice and she has to work in the secretarial dept for a month.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there is a one month internship program. There is no stipend of any sort. The student gets to choose a company of her choice. I did my internship in The India Cements Ltd. It was very interesting and we all enjoyed it to the core plus we learnt some of the nuances of companies.

Placement Experience

The placement is extremely good. Companies like EY, Delloite, RBS and all take part every year and there are a good number of students who qualify for the job. The salary package is satisfying and they companies also offer options for their students to pursue higher studies with their job.

College Events

There are many events like department meets , inter departmental competitions and inter collegiate competitions, the college never fails to recognise talent and encourage others to participate in competitions.the college has won many awards especially for dance and light music.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is a scholarship facility in the college. Any student who wishes to avail the facility needs to fill up an application and submit necessary supporting documents.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good as it consists of both internal as well as external exams. The internals add upto 40% of total weightage and the remaining is that of external exam. Since a semester system is followed, thee is no pressure on the student to remember a whole lot of syllabus at one point of time.

Admission

We need to fill in an application form. The college authorities will calculate the cut off and call the student based in the cutoff. It is different for different castes. The college will give specific dates for admission. The student needs to appear there and pay the fee and secure admission in the college.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed.
