Remarks
I scored an aggregate of 82% in 12th in Physics, Chemistry and maths. One day I was just searching for colleges to pursue BTech and came across the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur. After going through it's prospectus online and curriculum, I ended-up filling the application form on the official website. I registered myself and entered personal details like nationality, name, date of birth, gender, details about parents, communication details, campus preferred, etc. Further had to give an entrance exam called IEMJEE, after passing this test I was eligible for the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course as it's curriculum concentrates more on programming and how the hardware and software are made built to work together in which I learn about coding. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15. They are all well educated and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. They made me industry-ready. Midterm, mid semester are scheduled for one month after another and the final sem are conducted by our college.
Internships Opportunities
Summer and winter internship program in industries for a duration of one to two month. In this program, I work in different industries to get hands-on project and experiences before the final step into the world of employment.
Placement Experience
In 3rd year, the students become eligible for campus placements. The highest salary packages 72 lpa. Many companies visited in the campus for the recruitment process. The placement was being conducted online and during the lockdown. I got the job offer from a very renowned company and is offered package around Rs.320000
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid total fees around Rs.3,80,000 for 3 years. There was total 6 semester for which the tuition fee was around Rs.45000 each. The registration fees were around Rs.5000 and the examination fee was Rs.2000. After all these expenses I still feel that every penny was worth because I got the opportunity to learn new things.The hostel lodging was around Rs.18000 per semester and the food charges were Rs.22000 per semester.
Campus Life
Cultural activities and festivals were the highlight of the campus. Many fests and exhibitions were organised in which I participated and gained lot of confidence. Sports days were very popular in the campus many colleges used to take part in it.
Hostel Facilities
A complete green and pollution free environment. There is 24 hours available water, Wifi and electrician. The hostel rooms are clean and in good quality. The registration for a hostel is done in the college office. The hostel rent costed me around Rs.80000 per annum.
