University organises its separate exam for MCA, I cracked that and got admission there. I scored approx. 40% in that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really nice there, they focus on two perspective basically, one for placements in top companies and other for research. Faculties focuses on research work in my vision because they also very much involved in that. People mainly focuses on the depth of subject there.
Internships Opportunities
Yes on some specific courses, they provides but unfortunately i didn't get any chance for internship through college.
Placement Experience
I think based on your qualifications and hard work you'll get placements here. No extra support from college to build up you like that. In few course there is too much chances of getting placed whereas few don't have any placement cell or something like that.
College Events
We have annual festival named as SUKOON, apart from this we had nari cups, senthil balaraj cups, etc. Actually i was not much interested in these so i don't have deep information regarding these. We had few dj parties also from university students union for all.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes for toppers there is a good provision of scholarship there and in professional courses you'll definitely get bank loan as well. i haven't took any loan.
Campus Life
Gender ratio would be 60-40 there. 60 men , 40 women. Life inside is really awesome, full of independence, you won't get it outside campus, i am sure in this. Having greens inside campus is really attracts all of us. Wide campus of 2000 acres. sports is below average there, labs are good but not much. debates are occasional.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, we have a great network among alumni and they are helpful for each others. We basically connected through social networking sites facebook or etc.
Exam Structure
Exams are based on half yearly (semester pattern), in between of semester there is provision of mid semester exams as well. In few courses there is project work for a complete semester. Mid semester carries 40% and final 60% of the total weights of exam.
Faculty
Faculties are really interested in educating the students in well manner. Their standard is very high, i think this is one of best quality of the university. But there are some exceptional case also where faculties comes for their own benefits only not for students.
