Infrastructure and University Brand name is the foremost thing which attracted me. Also Delhi is near to my hometown so near to home college is also the one factor. Beside the low fees and average placement thing like other tier 2 bschools is also the reason that why to pay hefty fees to other pvt. bschools. These are all sort of reasons I considered while considering DTU for MBA
Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum is not much industry oriented I would say. Also faculty student ratio is good around 60:1 in one class. Emphasis is given more on research and other things which is a good thing from Academics side. Faculty quality is average due to a government college and faculties are pretty old and traditional in teaching.
Internships Opportunities
Yes , I opted for Internship and I was selected through campus for Internship and good number of Opportunities are floated by TnP for Internship to students. Per student one opportunity is there if the students want to take it for Internship.
Placement Experience
In BTech Placement are very good especially for Computer Science students in DTU. There are more than 500 Companies which come over campus for placement. For MBA placement is around 50 percent average every year. Students become elegible for placement in last year and can apply for summer internship in pre final year of their course. In MBA more than 70 Companies have visited campus till now and around 40 percent students got placed till now. Highest package is around 12 LPA and average package is around 5-6 LPA
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I took admission in 2019, fees was around 3.5 Lakh for 2 years and for students taking admission now it has been increased to 4.2 Lakh for 2 years. Apart from this, anyone can apply for fees concession within college and can get upto 25% or 50% refund on tution fees, if have low family income and have to produce other documents as well in front of authority.
Campus Life
Life at DTU campus is beautiful, it has beautiful campus and infrastructure. DTU is known for various fests like Engifest and other cultural activities which it organises within university. Plenty of books are available according to your course in library. It has good sport facilities and equipment and have separate ground for badminton, Cricket and basketball as well and also place for indoor sports.
Hostel Facilities
My PG was very near to DTU college and it was a good experience living near to college as we could easily attend classes and meet hostel friends and could enjoy all fest and cultural activities organised within college.
