Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET entrance examination and ranked 14,556. I took this college because it provides good education, placements and it doesn't apply any stupid and silly rules to the college. It gives the freedom, an engineering student should have.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is 3.5/5. It needs some changes in its curriculum, like the contents of a course, so that they're helpful in matching the current requirements. A few courses have syllabus, that doesn't match the current needs or is of a less use. So, such parts should be replaced with required, and this is being implemented slowly as I've seen there are changes from what our seniors had in their course.

Internships Opportunities

Our college doesn't provide internships, but guides and provides enough support for getting various internships and helps us by providing the letters for joining.

Placement Experience

4

Placements opportunities are really good and it is seen that all the students get opportunity for a company. This year, a few companies that recruited students are, Microsoft, Deloitte, JP Morgan, TCS, NTT Data, Capgemini, Amazon etc.

College Events

5

There are 3 major feats in our college. The first one Convergence, is a technical fest in which people from various colleges. It's a national fest. Sports fest is the next one, in which various colleges from all over India take part.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was a bit expensive when I joined, but now the fee is brought down which, is, what it should be. When I joined it was 97,500 INR. plus a few extra charges like examination fee and all adding up to a total of 1.06 lakh. But now, it is 80 k-85 k INR(approx.), which is appropriate for a college as this.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not availed any scholarship, but there is a separate section in college in which students are given guidance to avail scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is,I guess,1:1 (not exact). There are many student chapters in our college such as IEEE, ISTE, IETE etc., in which interested students take part. There is a fest organised exclusively for the student chapters.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a website created for all the alumni and current joining students, so that they can interact with each other.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good. There is one mid term after 2 months of the start of a semester and another at the end of a semester followed by lab externals and semester end exams. At the end of semester it feels a little hectic because the mid term 2 and lab externals fall consecutively, but it is taken care that everything goes smoothly.

Admission

It was very simple. Got my entrance test result, and then applied for colleges online. Then submitted my documents at a government scheduled place. Finally, after results reported in the college, paid the fee. The date of joining was given and we had an induction program and orientation at the start of our graduation in which we were exposed to every part of the college.

Faculty

4

Talking about the faculty, there are well qualified faculty and have a lot of interest in teaching and guiding towards projects and research. The faculties are qualified in various forms. PhD's, M.Tech etc., and have good knowledge of there subject. Also, they guide us to a better exposure to labs so that it helps us all in our coming times.
