Internship Opportunities

I had applied Abes, Galgotia and other government aktu colleges, even LPU. I was accepted in few but the fees was too high so I opted for IMSEC after 4 rounds of UPSEE counseling. I was alloted the college through girls ranks in UPSEE exam. My admission was also through counseling that conducted on the alloted day. But the college also excepts direct admission.

I am majoring in CSE since I was interested in programming ever since I was in school. The teachers in my college are good. They all are very qualified. There are a few that are not so good but that is the every college so it's not that bad. The used to teach us in normal one interactive classes but since the pandemic broke out everything shifted online. There are enough teachers for every subject and the student to teacher ratio is good.

And college organises workshops regarding latest technologies so you can take part in those activities to broaden your knowledge of the technical aspects. They recently got a tie up with coursera. Every years seniors work on various projects that get displayed on techfest.

Campus placements start from 7th semester onwards. Placements are average and this college is no more accredited with TCS. Mostly, students are placed through pool campus placements. The average salary is around 3.3 LPA. Last year, Ericsson took many students from our college. Almost every person in CS and IT branch gets placement if they have proper credibility.

There hasn't been much hike in the fees. It's been the same since few years now but it would have been better if they deduced the fees during pandemic since all the teaching has shifted offline. I do get a scholarship through the UP government scholarship policy for UG and PG students which is around 57k. Although since I'm general I didn't recieve the scholarship in the first year.

They used to conduct fest every year where a fairly famous celebrity used to attend but since the pandemic nothing of sort could be arranged. The library sucks, it has no books at all. They have the same books in the library as they the one they give us for the semester. We do have projectors in every classroom but no one really uses it. The best thing in class is AC which always works. There are various clubs in the college but they only come in light during competitions. Other then that there's no engagement.
