Worthy 4 years in Charotar University

The admission process was smooth. The admission is done by ACPC, gujcet , JEE marks. There are management quota and NRI quota, through both anyone can take admission. NRI quota fees are more than others. Management quota fees and merit round admission fees are the same. There is no difference. The minimum rank should be under 5000 through ACPC if you want to take admission in the Information Technology branch. Getting more than 5000 ranks will make it difficult to take admission in the IT/CSE/CS branch. There was no counseling day , there are few youtube channels that provide complete information on admission in Gujarat.

As I am very much interested in Computer branch and want to gain more knowledge about it, As my ACPC rank was also too good that I can get admission to the IT/CSE/CS branch. The student-faculty ratio is too good, its about 27:1 (student: faculty) every 27 students have one Counselor, any problem can share it to our counselor and the faculty is too helpful. the qualification of faculty is too good, they have immense knowledge respective to their field, A year has two-semester, every semester consists of 3 exams, an additional Quiz, a surprise test, etc.

As I have mentioned earlier, from the 5-6th semester, the students used to make preparations for Jobs interviews and internships. In the higher semester, they used to have projects of their respective branch. The main purpose of the internship is used to get practical knowledge, the stipend depends on the companies they offer, most often it is 200/- day which means approximately 6000/- per month to meet students' food and miscellaneous expenses.

From the 5-6th semester , the college used to provide knowledge regarding job placements and internships, they make us prepare for it. Adani power ltd, Zeus learning, ford, Asian Paints, byjus, and many more reputed companies had given the job to students. there was 31 lakh package was given even in these pandemic time and average package goes to 4-5 lakhs depends upon the branch you have. In IT there was 98% of students got the job and in CSE/CS there was 100% jobs placement was there according to the survey. My plans either to do a job or Ph.D. in mathematics as I love/am interested in Mathematics too much.

The fee is 1.36 lakh per year which is quite normal nowadays, but their teaching is too worthy. There are many scholarships available, the student who used to top the exam has been rewarded with prizes to boost his confidence and other students to work hard too. At the end of the 5th sem, they used to make us prepare for the Job interview and internship. If anyone has a financial problem in that case also college is there to help those students by seeing their ability to study. If anyone wants to take admission in IT/CSE/CS then CHARUSAT is the best college among GUJARAT. as there are always cons, so the cons are, Charusat is most famous and have the best faculty of IT/CSE/CS only so their cut off rank is also very high to achieve, in case of other branches, the cut off goes to 20,000+ which is too low.

The annual fest name, Spoural, is very famous in CHAROTAR UNIVERSITY, it always held in January month, and we have different culbs here, for example, coding, dancing, dance, music, etc clubs to get students to involve in cultural fest also and not only become a bookworm. There is always a sports competition between students like cricket, kabaddi, football, volleyball, etc. Even girls are also encouraged to take part in any of the sports. Mostly the senior students used to run the clubs or the CR's ( class representatives). there are more than thousands of books in the library, you just have to get a pass from the library and can take any book of your choice, we have more than 4000+ e-books so students can read through soft copy also.
