Life at IBS Mumbai

I applied to many colleges including IBS Mumbai. I did not avail any quota for admission. The admission criteria were 50% and above in both graduation and entrance exam. The admission process took place in Hyderabad which included GDPI. It was a very systematic and smooth process.

PGPM course offered by IBS Mumbai is a full-fledged course that includes all the domain knowledge and extracurricular activities. Faculties are well versed in their subject and also hold doctorates. The exam was completed on a timely basis.

Companies like JP Morgan, SD Corp., Aditya Birla come to campus for different profiles. Some of the internships are paid while some are unpaid. A stipend up to Rs 10000 is given in the paid internships.

Students get eligible for the placements after the 3rd semester. Companies like JP Morgan, EY, HDFC, Neilson Delloite come to campus for recruitment. The average package offered is 6 L p.a. The placement team helps in preparations as well.

Fees are affordable. they provided loan assistance to students from the beginning of the year itself. Due to COVID 19, they also provided a bridge loan facility for the payment of fees. Scholarships are given to students who are eligible for above 8 CGPA.

The campus is situated in Powai. All the necessary amenities are provided like Centralised AC and digital boards. Konflux is the annual festival in January. Many clubs like Kautilya Soundstreet and other domain and cultural clubs together and conduct various events and activities.

The GDPI process was very smooth. The topic was Are mobile phones necessity or luxury. It was 10 mins discussion. Also, the personal interview process was very smooth and the panelist made me comfortable before the interview started.
