Karnataka Common Entrance test, I scored 85%, I opted for this college as this is the best college in my city.

I had chosen electronics and communications course and there are 8 semesters, first two semesters are common for all courses and the specialisation starts from third semester. You have three tests and one final exam.

There are scholarships offered but I am not aware of any internship programs.

Placement opportunities were pretty good. When I passed out in 1997, below companies came for campus interview from my memory TCS, Phillips, Infosys, Wipro, Seimens, Texas Instruments, Techtronis and few other companies. I got selected in TCS and got 4500 per month as my salary offer ;)

We used to have technical and cultural annual fests which were well attended and used to attract lot of students from all over the state and neighbouring states.

My whole engineering expense for fees and all other fees did not exceed sixty thousand. It used to be six thousand per semester and one thousand for exam fees.

I have not availed any scholarship/loan facility, but our college had lot of scholarships.

Our college had big ground on which football and cricket was played. There was basket ball court also. Except for mechanical related courses gender ratio was pretty decent may be 70:30. Labs and Library facility was very good as its a pretty old college and got funds from government.

We used to have three tests and one final exam and we needed to answer 5 questions out of 8 questions. There used to be two practical exams. we used to have 8 subjects with two labs. Internals were for 25 marks and best of two out of three internal test marks were counted for final exams. final exams were form 75 marks and remaining used to come from internals.

Admission to this college is based on ranking which was a mix of 50% CET score and 50% 12th score of physics, Maths and Chemistry subjects. You get a rank and that decides the college and course. college and course ranking and the demand decides what is cut off for each college and course.

They were pretty decent, most of them were permanent hires We had many professors and assistant professors taking classes. Few of the professors were having tie ups with industry and were doing projects for the industry which was sponsored. You have three tests and one final exam and most of them were options.
