Nourishing my dream with Dr. K.N.Modi University

I had applied for many other colleges but I was looking for an economic College with good facilities,K.N Modi University was the best option left. So I didn't try in any other college. I didn't avail any sort of quota. Criteria for admission is simple, one has to pass class 10 +2 with more than 50 % marks. On the counseling day, one has to submit his/her all the required documents and wait for the announcement made by the counselor.

My dream was to become a mechanical engineer, and also I was interested in this course. The faculty-student ratio was acceptable, for every 50 students there was 1 teacher to guide. The teachers were well qualified, almost every teacher holds a master's degree and their teaching method was superb. There were about 1 test per week which was a weekly test and 4 term examinations per year which were slightly tough but one can easily pass the term exam if he /she has attended the class regularly.

The roles were hardware engineer, manager executive, mechanic, etc offered from the companies like Tata. Birla, Reliance etc. The role totally depends on the performance of students in the interview taken by the companies.

From3 rd semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like L&T,Tata, Birla etc were few who come to the college. The package ranges from 5000000-400000 per year. About 65% of students got placed from the campus rest of the students either wanted to study or wanted another job. I wanted to study further after B.Tech.

As mentioned earlier the fee structure was quite simple, there was no donation and they held a scholarship before admission. Students who pass the test were allotted concession on the fee. The normal fee was 40000 / year.

The college conducts an annual fest every year in November, they also conduct. various tech fest. The college has its own library which is always open for the students and a student can borrow books for a day or two by submitting his/her Id. College also organizes various sports programs like inter-college cricket tournament ,football etc.

The room was good in the hostel, they were near and clean. The meal, however, was the only major problem of this college the mess service was also not good. Registration for the hostel was done at the time of admission and the fee was 20000 / year
