JEE Mains. One has to give JEE mains for getting admission into NIT. In general 200+ will be safe to get admission in NIT Raipur in creme branches like CSE, Mechanical. Since Raipur is a growing city and also a developing one so I think there are vast opportunities here in the Raipur.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some are old and some are updated. Old because it was a GEC then It was formed NIT. Anyways many courses are certified by NBA it means that the degree the student get from the student is valuable all over the world. I must say that the institute is still developing so there are opportunities.
Placement Experience
Many students get placed and it is more at creme branches. As much I know in creme branches like CSE there is 100% placement and even many get double placement offers. And it is upto to the student only because there are many students in IIT's too who gets kicked off from the institute, And as Raipur is developing so I think there are many growing opportunities to prove themselves.
College Events
Most of the events are celebrated by the students which includes Engineer's day to Diwali pre celebration. This college has it's own techno management festival named as AAVARTAN, sport fest as SAMAR, cultural festival as ECLECTIKA. So as stated earlier RAGA the music club often conducts garba celebration, music festival as SHRUTI.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is 1,25,000 ₹. As per the facilities given by the institute the fees deserves it. Moreover there are other options for the students also like scholarships provided to the students by the government. So the fess may be compensated with the scholarships.

The most popular is given by the MHRD through national scholarship portal. One of which is CSSS (Central Sector Scholarship Scheme).
Campus Life
The institute is totally supports co-education system. There is no special restriction on the girls like girls can't do this that except they have to report to the hostels earlier as for the security reasons which applies to the both girls and boys too.
Faculty
Good they try to teach from the core. Most of the faculty try to teach in such a way that student get quality education not only the paper one. So they are good but since it is developing so more good faculties must be taken to teach the student. Notice that I am a first year student only so I am giving my review in may vary too as I have witnessed the college since last few month only.
