Remarks
The admission process is only done after clearing ALL INDIA EXAM that is JEE MAINS. Approx 150+ is needed in JEE MAINS to get a seat in NIT JAMSHEDPUR for the ECE branch. The seat allocation process is done online only but one had to visit the college for the documentation process.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are semester exam happen in every 6 months and also midterm exams in 3rd month of every semester. As per the difficulty level, I would give 7/10. Exams were not much tough. As students get into NIT cleared with an All India exam so the semester exams are piece of cake for them.
Internships Opportunities
One had to appear for an internship. Students get a chance to sit in internships in mostly the 2nd and 3rd years also the summer internship and vocational training. A final year student had to submit the final year project.
Placement Experience
Mostly I would go for campus placement. The campus placement record of Nit Jamshedpur is really good almost every student got placed in good companies. Also one could go for higher studies. Nit Jamshedpur provides degrees up to PhD level.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a separate department in college to handle the scholarship work so students if eligible for the scholarship will definitely get one. As for campus placement, Nit Jamshedpur holds a record. Even is COVID -19 time institution had approx more than 90% placement record.
Campus Life
There are 30+ social group in NIT JAMSHEDPUR. As college established in 1960 large number of clubs had started. There are annual event also both technical and cultural event also. Different college from outside also participate in our college.
Hostel Facilities
I had stayed in a hostel only. We have a mega hostel which had recently been constructed .mostly important part is that every student gets a single room with a LAN connection. (From 2019 except 1st year student every student get a single room).
