Remarks
I attempted upsee exam and scored 480 and choose many colleges such as ABESEC , AKG , IMS , RKG, etc but got a computer science stream in ABESEC so I chose this college. My admission was done through counseling I did not get any quota and the admission criteria for counseling was upsee score with a minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Computer Science stream as I was keenly interested in computers and it also had a good scope. The Faculty: Students ratio was good enough to manage all the students and the quality of content taught by faculties was good enough to grasp. All the faculties were well qualified with masters excluding few and there were assessments timely to check our knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
A number of companies provide internships in this college with a stipend and without stipend both. Under internships students need to work on minor projects for 3 to 4 months depends on the internship time period opted.
Placement Experience
There is a campus placement offer in the college with 250+ companies visiting the college every year. With different eligibility criteria in which students are eligible after completing semester 6 and internship. The package of companies visiting college varies from 2.8 LPA to 10 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is pretty high for a middle-class family to afford but the upbringings given in the college were upto the mark considerin fee. There are also certain scholarships for financial aid and financial assistance in case of emergency for students. Jobs and placements are good in the college.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good enough. There is an annual fest called "GENERO" is conducted every year under which tech fest, cultural fest , sports , drawing compitions etc take place. The Library of the college is large enough to provide all the books and journals which one can get issued for 10 days. In classrooms, fixed seats and webcams and projectors are present to teach.
Hostel Facilities
The charge for the hostel was rs 85000 per annum which includes a breakfast and meal facility and four members in a room with separate beds and almirah and a common washroom. There are also separate room facilities with an added charge and separate washroom facilities.
