I am studying in Dr Vithal rao vikhe Patil foundations college of pharmacy Ahmednagar Maharashtra in which the admission process is very simple and the counseling is done on the basis of your mht-cet and Neet examination for B. Pharmacy and yes on the basis of 12 th class marks too. There is no such minimum marks behalf this counselling but the allotment of college is done by mht-cet cell. The course is for 4 year duration.

The duration of the B. Pharmacy course is of 4 years which is divided into 8 semesters contains 4-8 subjects. In total I think there is approx 35-40 subjects are there overall in 4 year course. The faculty are very good, vast and very knowledgeable. The way of teaching of faculties is quite interesting and they are well qualified. The batch of the students is 66-70. The exams are based on semester wise. Each semester contains 2 sessional and 1 semester exam also known as End semester exam. The exams are quite difficult and you have to study hard to pass the exam.

I'm studying in 2nd year. So I don't know much about campus placement because placements are done in 4th year, 7th semester. But yes there is placements and many companies visit such as CIPLA, Torrent, sun pharma and approx 30 companies and they provide jobs to student on the basis of students performance. The highest package of our college placements is 11 lpa and the average is 4-6 LPA. so my plan is higher studies after I get b. Pharm degree.

Basically the fees of this course is 1,10,000 but they provide scholarship for those students who are financially not well. Scholarship are mahaDbt and one scholarship namely pragati this is especially for girls. I know the fees of the college is high but it is value for money.

The campus is very big and devast. Fest are celebrated as the festivals comes closer. The common fest are freshers party celebrated in August for the freshers. Ganesh uthsav in the month of September. Pharma uthsav in the month of November to December in which various events are organized such as quiz, exhibition, debates and many more. There are sports tournaments organized by college between inter and intra college during Ganesh uthsav. The tournament are of cricket, Running, chess, badminton, Table tennis and swimming. There is a library in college which is very big contains many books, journals and magazines ( only scientific). All the books of pharmacy are available In the library. Newspaper too provided by library for reading and up to date the current affairs knowledge of students.
