Remarks

I applied for agriculture at Ranchi agriculture college. I attended the counseling and the process, it was easy. No quota I availed. Criteria: Min marks 33%. And above 18 years of age. Admission criteria are based on domicile and marks obtained in jcece.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course for a high job opportunity. As per college 1 faculty per 60 students. All teachers are qualified and have PhD degree. They are very good and high motivational and have very strong bonding. Every 6-month exam is held and it is difficult to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I got a trainee in government PSU. As farmer assistant. I used to pick the call and provide assistance and help them. My project was to interact with farmers and provide them good assistance in all fields of agriculture.

Placement Experience

From 8th-semester campus placement start. I visited nestle and many government PSU. Highest package 20 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 12 lakh per annum. 80% get placement. I will do MBA further in higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable and the cost of the study is also at the level and no such hike in price. I didn't get any scholarships and jobs and any financial services. Rest privileged students got scholarships at their level of study.

Campus Life

Birsa function is organized every year. There are many digital and hard copy books present there. Lots of amenities in the classroom. Good participants in all outdoor and indoor games. No such website run by students.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. None 10.6 lakhs highest Dehaat. 3.86 lakhs average Seeds India. 70-80% of student get placed every year. First to apply for Govt. Job, Second is want to open a green house to grow a medicinal plants in my farm.

College have placement cell it provides the placement upto 5 -6 kakh but no. of students getting placement is quit low only 20% student get placement by the college rest prepare for government exam or go for Higher studies

the course is totally based on Agricultural practice and Agricultural produce which is eventually consumed by every person. the frequency of the exam are a bit harsh because the exams are conducted without any gap which make students very stessed during exams.

Best College for Agricultural Science

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. There is also internships provided during the last semester which is a good oppotunity for placement. Each year 8 to 10 companies or more visits for the placements. Many students are interested in higher degrees after graduation, so they also go for post graduation and doctorate.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placement in the 8th Semester. You have on campus as well as off campus placement. Students had grabbed good placements in various private firms mostly banking with an average package of 4-6 LPA. Since I am a first year student. I don't know much about placement and Internships. But you will get more opportunities in this university than any other agricultural university in this state. And in the coming future, the demand will increase for agriculture graduates. Most students who don't take placements prepare for JRF and higher studies or prepare for PCS and various vacancies in both government and private firms providing good posts and salaries. There are many more options to explore than you know now. You will get to know many more options from your professors and seniors.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester campus placement start. Companies like nestle, Unilever cames. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 10 lakh per annum. 66% of students get placement. My plan for MBA in agribusiness further.

This college is the first college of Jharkhand state and affordable, feasible fees are there so anyone can afford the expenses. This is the positive remarks form myself. It provides a chance to improve knowledge attitude, skills, action of students which pay ahead.

Best College for Agricultural Science

I chose this college as it is the best one for this course. The quality of education, the faculty, the environment, etc. all are very good. The admission to this college takes place through a state level entrance examination JCECE which is conducted each year by the JCECEB. All the students of science stream are eligible for this examination. The cutoff for admission is around 70 to 75% for this course. The admission process is quite simple for any of the four Agriculture Colleges under Birsa Agriculture University. You just have to complete your 12th with Physic, Chemistry and Biology/Maths as your main subjects. And your 12th score should be at least 50% for the General and EWS category. Based on this, you can apply online for JCECEB Examination on the JCECE portal. The application comes in between July- August and exams are conducted in September in CBT mode. Online Result and the first three counselling processes are done within a month. You have to go to Ranchi Agriculture College, Ranchi for your document verification and admission to the allotted college, on the same day. Age limit - Max 22 yrs for General. Cut off - Selection cut-off has remained between 65-90 till 2k19 but in 2020 it has increased to 105 out of 150 marks. Exam pattern - Total 150 questions and 1 mark each so the maximum marks are 150. 50 questions for 50 marks in each section Physics, Chemistry, Bio/Maths....Read More
