Remarks
The admission was through an online quota of 12th marks and an interview was scheduled after the first screening. The first screening was based on reservation quota and after the interview, there will be a second screening with the marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it is one of the best suitable courses for the career that I opted for. There were 2 faculty for every 6-7 students that approximately brings nearly 20 faculties for a strength of 120 students. Faculty are all doctorates and above and the teaching method is a totally practical way. Terms exams happened once in 6 months and the exams are up to the standard of education the College offers.
Internships Opportunities
Every student has to necessary do an internship for a period of 2 months with an eligible institution with a stipend of 6000 per month. The student has to maintain a timesheet duly signed by the employer and has to submit an experience review form at the end of their internships.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are provided to almost all students who clear up to 5 semesters and have no standing arrears. The big 4 audit firms visited and provided 88 offers to eligible candidates. The highest package offered was 8 lacs and the average was 3 lacs. Almost 75% of students got placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee depends upon the course and the shift opted. For commerce shift 1 it was 40000 a year with a hike of 5000 every year. The course extends for 3 years. Scholarships are provided to economically backward students and financial assistance is provided by the college to those who are in extreme need. I got placed on the campus as a tax associate and the first drawn CTC was 3 lakhs per annum
Campus Life
Annual fest is called Ovations and it is conducted in July every year. The college maintains a very big library with almost all the books and references available. For those hard copies not available there is also an online library that orders the required books based upon the need. Classrooms are equipped with smart labs and practical training College offers a brief number of extracurricular and sports activities that every student must necessarily enroll in. In the second year of the course, the college runs an outreach program where the students are made to offer social help to needy people.
Hostel Facilities
The room is equiped with Bed, fan and a television. The meal quality is really top notch with a menu scheduled maintained every month. Hostel registration is provided to students who are located a particular distance far from the college and the affordability is graat compared to the cost of living if a room is rented in the city.
