For commerce Goenka is the best-Review

First, I generally didn't apply for any other colleges BCS Goenka college is one of the best colleges for commerce under Calcutta university. Second yes I belong to obc-b category. Third for the admission criteria in Goenka college the minimum marks for gen-90 or more% Obc a & Obc b 85 -90% sc 80 or more% St at least 75% Fourth the admission process is very simple our respected prof. Personally check the selected candidate resume from the list who applied to get admission in the college then they ask few questions and send them to the administration dept. I have to choose b.com BCS. I want to know about that stream very well and want to get a good job in any Mnc or popular corporate sector like PWC E&y KPMG etc. There are 3 depts. B.com M.com & Mba regarding B.com faculty: Student ratio is 10:90. Our professors are highly qualified most of them having M.Phil, Ph.D., Acca CFA degree in accounts & finance, and Mba. As it's a goverment college its fees structure is quite reasonable for any student to continue the study generally our every sem cost approximately 555 or 600 so total costs 600 6 sem +others 1400 near about 5000 for b.com course. Yes I got a scholarship from the West Bengal govt that is Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship with the help of our college.

The campus was awesome. In our college naturally, fest occurs twice in a year as a quest. A lot of important and interesting books or journals related to the study materials are available in the library. Smart classrooms. Gym room playroom also available. Yea in our college there is a group as students union controlled by the ex students and the newly admitted students if they want to join.
