Remarks

I have applied for Jaipuria but because the area is not suitable for me I have not taken admission to this college. Admission is online and minimum marks are 75% and the minimum age is 18. I have not availed of any quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do some professional course with my colleagues and I found this a suitable course which gives me the flexibility The Faculty in my college are good. If someone needs support they try to help them. They are highly qualified and teach well. There are 50 students in each class. There are 2 semesters and 2 internal exams in a year.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are moderate. They don't charge too high fees for B.COM. There are not such scholarship and financial assistance facility available in the college as already course fees is at a discounted rate Companies like TCS come for campus placement.

Campus Life

There are not such fests are organized as during my academic year as there was a lockdown and there was no one at the college campus. Every year fresher parties are organized. The library is maintained very well. There is a game room in which table tennis, carom, pool table is available.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
