College management is fine . I will give 5/10 for management in terms of admissions. You know what I mean ;) (management quota). But on the basis of recruitment process I will give 9/10 with superb track record of the college.

I got admission in GCET through JEE-MAINS. My all India Rank was 72,250 in General Category and I scored 105 marks in JEE-MAINS and 93% in CBSE. Reputation of GCET in computer science was really good so I preferred this college over DU, Narsee Monjee, UPES. Luckily I got placed in Wipro and IBM so I believe it was a smart move.

There are few unnecessary subjects that an engineering won't come across in future. Beside this there are many interesting subjects like Artificial intelligence, cryptography, Computer Graphics. There is one subject i.e webtech it includes java(core and advance), php, html, css, I feel that this subject should be fragmented into 2 subjects for better understanding of this languages.

No, student has to find internship on his own. College doesn't provide any internship opportunity to students but on their part they ask for internship reports and students have to deliver presentation on the basis of internship.

Placement is good in comparison to other colleges affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam University. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant are the mass recruiters. 70% CS students get placed in these companies. 100+ companies conduct recruitment process each year.

SUNBURN - First Sunburn in Delhi was held in our college. FRESHER - for first year students fresher is organised by our college and most of the time celebrities are the guests FEST - Our college fest happen in Feb each year for 3days. Known faces like Benny Dayal , Neha Kakkar , Sunidhi Chauhan have become part of our beautiful festival beside this sport events happens twice an year.

For B.Tech students annual fees is 1,10,000, it is revised yearly but there aren't any major changes made in fees structure hostel fess is 75,000 per year for 4 bed room with cooler. Fees is reasonable in comparison to other private colleges and it is feasible for the students.

Yes students can avail scholarship given by the university. Any student can apply for scholarship irrespective for their merit.

Campus life is too good because of the infrastructure. Gender ratio is 60:40 in favor of boys as the matter of fact that it is largely an engineering college labs are well equipped with all necessary machines and tools there is lack of sports infrastructure. Robotics, Debates and other competitions happens on regular basis.

There are two hostels one is for girls and other is for boys. Boys hostel has common washroom which is a major concern while girls hostel i recently constructed and has better facilities. Girls hostel is air-conditioned. Mess is common for boys and girls food quality is initially good but with time quality decreases.

Many opportunities to interact with seniors. Seniors play vital role in any collegite's life. Alumni of GCET were very helpful and friendly. They guided me on my 4th year project.

There is Semester system in our university mid semester and end semester. For internal evaluation college conducts 2 sessional exams. In case a student misses one sessional exam he gets opportunity for 3rd sessional also known as PUT. On the basis of assignments and sessional exams internal marks are awarded out of 500 marks each semester consist of 6 subjects.

Admission process is smooth if all documents are ready as in my case. After JEE-MAINS result declaration student has to apply for the AKTU colleges according to preferences. Shortlisted candidates are called for the registration process along with documents, after registration and fees deposition the student gets the receipt and he/she becomes part of the college.

Many professors are highly intellectual with great command over their subjects. But there is one negative point i.e administration assigns random subjects to the professors who are master in other subject. This is because of less number of faculty members. Beside this every teacher gives his/her 100%.
