College experience.

I think the college is good with the all kinds of things needed for an Post Graduate student.

The entrance exam which I took to get into this course was CMAT. I have score 81.16 percentile in the exam. I opted for this college was due to the faculty, infrastructure, companies which come for placements. And also it is not far from my house.

The course curriculum is an well planned which also includes the industry experience which is much needed to get an hands on experience before joining any company. Also as it is an autonomous college the management also has the power to change the curriculum every year based on the industrial need which helps the student to get knowledge of what is needed by the industry currently.

Yes, our college not only provides internship opportunities but also wants every student to do their internship the domain they want to specialize during the summer holidays after the completion of the first year. Generally, the stipend is based on the company. but normally as I have seen in my internship a student earns around ₹10,000.

As I have already mentioned the placements are good in our college. In my current batch Its been only 1 month since the placements have been started and there are already 55 students placed out of the total strength of 162 students with 57 offer letters in hand with an average package of 5.4L. which I think is an good score so far.

There are many events conducted by or college. Some them are there are regular seminars held from the industry experts, there is also an college fest named chrysallis. In which there are many competitions conducted and students from various colleges attend and participate in it.

The structure is the students has to pay the fees at the beginning of the year itself. But he can get extension for the date if he is paying in terms or if the student is going for an loan. I think the fees is a bit expensive for an student with an normal family background but it is worth it if the student utilizes all the available resources to him.

Yes our college gives scholarships to the students who deserve it. There would be fee concession for the students who rank 1st and 2nd in the whole year the would get 50% concession in their 2nd year fees. There is no loan facility offered by the college. The student only needs to get the loan approval by himself.

In our batch the ratio of boys and girls is almost equal, it is 55:45. And as I have already mentioned there are many students from various states there is also geographical diversity in our college. I think it is good to have the diversity so that we can also get to know the nature of people of various regions which would help us in this global economy of work place.

There are limited rooms available at our hostel but I think those are sufficient for the number of intakes. But as I am a day scholar I don't have much knowledge about the hostel facilities. but from the review which I get from my friends it is average as there are students from various places and much diversification is there we would be getting various reviews. some may like the food and some may not.

Every year there is alumni meet held by our college, where the students of previous batches are called to let them know the improvements in their college get the feel of those previous college days. It also helps the college in building the network with the various companies. Also letting the juniors to have an talk to their seniors of various batches.

The course structure is mailed to thee students as soon the classes have been started and there will be details about the assignments in which it has information of what are the assignments to be done and also the dead line before which the students have to be submitted. So the students can plan prior itself. the weight-age is 50% for internals and 50% for externals.

The admission process had included an scrutiny for my previous education and then followed by an Personal Interview, in which there were questions about my personal details, knowledge about the domain which I wanted to opt for and some general and daily happening things.

I can say that the faculty of my college is well qualified as they have an higher qualification and also an experience in the industry of which they are sharing the knowledge with the students. As there are some students who already have an work experience and an higher knowledge is required to address their queries.
