Reviewing my college JSS STU Mysore

JSS college is very renowned college in karnatka. I had the option to apply in its Noida branch, But later decided to opt for Mysore branch as its exposure and studies were better. No , I am a General category student. Admission is on the basis of CBSE boards + JEE mains rank. One needs to apply in counseling, If the name appears in the list , The person has to then report to the college on given date , where all the remaining procedure gets completed.

The course is regularly updated as per the industry needs. Faculty: student ratio is 1:11. Professors are M.tech and PhDs from top colleges of India. Every professor is dedicated to his specialization and explains his course very well. Exams were held in offline mode, and paper is of moderate difficulty.

Placements are okayish. Most technical companies come to college. The majority of the roles offered are related to coding. The highest package was around INR 33 lakhs in the coding domain. More than 70% of students are able to grab a job from college. with the statistics improving every year.

There's no fixed fee hike policy that the college follows. It mainly depends on college administration. The cost to study is average, if you are a local resident, However hostels are costly. Some MCM and merit-based scholarships are available in college

Jayciana is the annual fest of the college. It attracts students from all over India. It is generally conducted in the month of April. Library is functional during day time. Books related to course are present ONLY. Classes are equipped with AC,black boards and some do have projectors also . There are many sports facilities like cricket ground , football ground, chess , TT ,Tennis GYMs and many more. There are various clubs both technical and cultural however most of students have an inclination towards coding club as of now.

The hostel is fully air-conditioned with individual almirah for each student. The meal is of average quality. The menu includes both veg and non-veg items. But it mostly serves south Indian dishes. Hostels are well maintained and are expensive too. There are shops inside the hostels and the campus itself. My hostel is inside the campus.
