My Experience of Online MBA/PGPM

ICFAI Business School conducts its own entrance exam named IBSAT. Firstly candidate had to fill-up the form and take the entrance test, after being qualified in that entrance exam candidate received a call letter for Gd and PI which was held on the Hyderabad campus. After GD and PI, they announced the result, and the candidate who was qualified were allotted the IBS campus according to merit. After allocation of campus, the candidate had to register for the seat in the allotted campus and pay the registration fees.

ICFAI Business School, Mumbai offers a Post Graduation Program in Management (PGPM) course with a specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human resources, Operations, and IT. They have well-qualified and experienced faculties, a case-based learning system, classroom discussions, practical-based learnings.

IBS Mumbai offer internship in the campus, companies come to hire interns from the campus for various sectors like BFSI, FMCG, IT, Real estate, etc. Roles and stipends are offered according to the companies requirement and norms. The students need to do a project according to their sectors on the various topics. Campus appoints a faculty mentor to guide the students during their internship and for their projects. The project has to be submitted at the end of the internship.

IBS Mumbai offers 100% placement, placement started for second-year students in the months of August. A lot of companies come for the placement for all the domains and offer a good package. One can also get PPO from their internship.

Fees for PGPM in IBS Mumbai is 800000 which can be paid in 5 instalments. The first one has to pay 80000 for registration and after that payment would be started. Students can also pay through bridge loans or partial payment methods. The scholarship would be given to the students who scored 80% and above. A lot of chances of getting live projects, internships during the semester where students can get corporate exposure, and earn.

Life on the campus is amazing, but unfortunately due to this pandemic, the classes were conducted online on zoom and all the facilities were given online, books are being delivered at our home, and for other things, we have been given an online portal. IBS Mumbai has 29 clubs for domain and cultural activities.

Yes, I have been given an entrance test, the test was set of quants, reasoning, and English. After qualifying for the entrance I received a call letter for GD and PI on the Hyderabad campus. I was assigned a group of 8 people for GD and the topic was 'MAN ON MOON or FOOD FOR MAN' and we were given the time of 2 minutes to prepare for the topic. It was very interesting, everyone presented their views on it and we discussed this for 15minutes and after that, each one of us concluded the topic. After the GD, there was a short break, and after that PI was started. The experience of GD and PI was good, got a chance to discuss and talk about things and meeting people on that campus, making friends, etc.
