I recommend my college for the study of Textile

As I have completed my Diploma, I got admission to MLV Textile and Engineering College in government allocated seats by qualifying which I got by my marks. There is a good thing that for admission of Girls they take half of the admission fees for Government allocated seats. I have to fill up the form firstly on the college website, then after allocating seats I got admission there.

I choose this course because I was very much interested and excited to learn about textile though I too belong to Weaver's community. There are highly educated and well-experienced professors in our college from IITs, NITs, etc. And students in our branch is around 150 and faculties are around 60 for us. The teaching methods of professors are too good and they try to give mor practical knowledge in comparison to theories. It was not so difficult to pass exams here because professors teaches so well and no one have to face any problems during exams.

Vardhaman Group and Welspun India limited are the companies providing internships with stipends. Projects are Manufacturing of cotton Fabric, Study on Airjet Machinery and its present scenario in Textile industries.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are Vardhaman group, Welspun group, Reliance group, Nahar group, Raymond, Aditya Birla Group, etc. The average package is 3.3 LPA. 75 - 80% of students get placed every year.

There are both government allocated seats and self-financing seats in our college. For GAS fees are about 18,000/month and for SFS fees are around 33,000 per month. There are many opportunities for getting scholarships which mainly helps in Financial Assistance.

The name of the annual fest of this college is GAETY. And it is conducted mostly in February. There is a big library in our college where a huge amount of books from every author are available. So many journals are also available every time we required them. Annual sports are very popular in college because it continues for 1 month. Everyone is given a chance to participate in it.

In the hostel, during summer coolers are available, aqua guard is available for pure drinking water, hostel canteen is there for the availability of food, geysers are available for winter. Meal quality is too good and anyone can eat happily. The menu is decided according to students and it changes every month.
