Remarks

I applied for Stella Maris, WCC, and mop Vaishnav college for women. Due to the fees structure of those colleges, I applied in ethiraj college for women, in which the fee structure is more affordable. Admission criteria of ethiraj college is they see to that we have got enough cut off marks in higher secondary examination ..cutoff marks will be calculated out off 400. The more marks you get, you ll get admission in the college. Admission process is just they ll release 3 lists based on your cutoff total, whether you're selected or not

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BSc mathematics..bcoz I have a great interest in that subject.. the faculties in ethiraj college is more friendly and kind .and they ll bring out all the hidden talents within the students..the teachers are well qualified and their teaching method is very much understandable..and easy . Passing in subjects is not much difficult..it's very easy to pass and get great marks as the subject concept is more understandable.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offer for internships They ll also train you for the placement interviews etc..and many companies offered internships with stipend .

Placement Experience

As I said before there are many companies that offers for placement in our college...from 5 th semester the students become eligible for campus placements.. percentage of students getting placements is abouve 75 percentage..and my plans after getting degree is to attend all the placement interviews or to become an Passionate mathematics teacher

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure per semester itself is around 2500 only. and they produce more scholarships too.. As I didn't complete my UG degree, I didn't know much about campus ..but my seniors told me that campus interviews in our college is more helpful

Campus Life

There are many events and culture are happening in our college..like caramba and maithri to bring out the talents of freshers and shristi a great intercollegiate cultural event..and college day, etc...we can enjoy limitlessly in the campus..and more clubs are there like NCC NSS yrs CSS ecell etc..the library is the best thing in our campus...they have all genres of books... fictions and non-fictions.. And sports ...there are many kind of sports activities in our campus..and they are very well trained coaches

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
