Remarks

I applied to many colleges including IBS Mumbai. I did not opt for any quota for admission. the admission process was very easy as the mentor was appointed to each student for the smooth flow of the admission process. GDPI was conducted on the Hyderabad campus

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose PGPM in IBS Mumbai as it offers a wide range of subjects. Faculties are well educated from good colleges and hold Ph.D. degrees as well. Exams are conducted on a semesters basis. And very simple to attempt.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships in different roles are offered by companies like Aditya Birla, Amul, DHFL, IIFL, and JP Morgan. students are given stipends ranging from 5000 to 10000 Rs per month. And then the SIP interview is conducted after completion.

Placement Experience

Placements are given from the 3rd semester. Till now above 97% students have been placed in top companies like JP Morgan, EY, KPMG, PwC Delloite, Black rock and Lodha. The average package is around 6 - 7 Lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 801000 for both years. it includes books as well. there is no fee hike this year. The scholarship is given to all students above7.5 CGPA up to 4000 rs per semester. Also college helps in Financial assistance in beginning of the year

Campus Life

The campus is situated in Powai. all the required amenities on the campus. the campus has spacious classrooms, an auditorium, and canteens. There are various clubs that together arrange an annual fest named Konflux. It is a 2 days event in the month of January.

Interview Experience

Yes, I gave GD where the topic was space research - is it a waste of money? We were taken for the campus tour and then the GDPI process was conducted. the results were announced after 15 days and the choice of the campus was given to students.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. There were sessions for GD, PI and other guidance. There was GD round after that PI was taken , I gave ibsat and got total of 92% as a result of all the process.
