I appeared for AMU Engineering entrance exam for Engineering, qualified and got selected for Civil Engineering, after the first semester, I was upgraded to Chemical Engineering.

One of the best syllabus as compared to other colleges, syllabus is updated very frequently, students are given practical exposure, training are arranged very frequently in corporate which enable student to understand the corporate culture and prepare for it.

College helps in arranging the internships, but does not guarantee it. Faculty invites various companies like TCS, WIPRO, IOCL, INFOSYS, CAPEGEMINI, BPCL, ATLAS COPCO, ASIAN PAINTS, ETC. Stipends are as per industry norms and very company to company. Experience is extremely helpful for the students and to plan there future.

Since 2002 Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology are giving almost 100% placements each year. Many students also end up with multiple offers and they can choose anyone the wish. Renowned Companies Like TCS, INFOSYS, IOCL, TATA CHEMICALS visit for campus recruitement.

We used to celebrate various technical, cultural events. it included Tech Fests, Paper Presentation competitions, annual college fests, Robotics exhibitions, Sports Events. We had sports team for college and used travel and participate in various national and international level competitions. Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology students have accolades in various competitions globally.

Campus Life at Zakir Husain College for Engineering and technology was extremely good and learning experience. It made me a good human being, Diversity among students helped me to learn a lot about other cultures and sections of societies. We had several workshops on various topics each year, students from across the country used to attend those.

Aligarh Muslim University have several hostels for students. Although personally I never stayed in any hostel as I was a local guy, but I found hostel to be a great place, opportunity to make a lot of friends, meeting a lot of different people, food was average, evenings were fun.

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology conducts exam on semester basis, in between we have mid semesters. Exams combines with Labs, Mid Semesters and Projects were very hectic and kept students extremely busy. For every lab and projects we used to weekly vivas and one final viva.

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) has one of most qualified faculty and staff. Every staff is as per UGC guidelines and most of the staff holds doctorate degrees. Faculty includes world renowned professors in many fields, Nano Technology, Process Engineering, Fluid Dynamics are few to name. Faculty is extremely approachable and are always ready to help the student.
