Remarks

Jamia takes the individual entrance exam for MBA. The selection process is completed based on maximum marks in the entrance exam and GDPI. 1st we have to qualify the entrance exam which is 170 marks and after qualify the exam we have a call for GDPI and if we pass the minimum marks of cut off then we take the admission in MBA.

MBA in International Business is a very prestigious degree. If I talk about my faculty then I have very good experience with them. They are very co-operative and helpful. If I talk about the way of teaching then I will say it is upto marks because Jamia has their own respect in the world for the level of teaching and discipline and it has 34 ranks in all business schools in India.

Many companies offer to Jamia students a summer internship at the college time because of Covid-19 most of the companies provide online training and many companies also provide offline training. After completion of training, many companies offer the pre-placement offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Jamia has lower fees as compare to other B-school because we have to pay only 34600 per year for MBA in International Business course and if I talk about the scholarship then it provides the scholarship for those students who come from lower-level backgrounds.

Campus Life

Jamia has its own respect in the world not only for teaching but also for its campus life and other activities like sports, fest. Jamia gives the option for those persons who have the talent in sports. Jamia conducts many fests every year. Jamia has a very big library for the students and which is available for all the Jamia students who want to read the books.

Interview Experience

To get admission in Jamia we have to face the entrance exam which is 170 marks and it has 4 portions which are quantitative aptitude, English, reasoning and current affairs. After qualifying the merit list of this entrance exam, we have the call for GDPI which has 30 marks and after qualifying the overall merit list then we can take the admission.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
