Engineering Days.

The entrance exam for admission in my college is conducted by GGSIPU and, it is called CET (Common Entrance Test). I secured a rank of 11579 in 2012 CET. Although my rank was little higher but still I got admission into this institute. There was no particular reason for choosing for this institute as it was very close to my residence So, I opt for this institute.

Well, the courses are good but, there is no significant option for research. the courses are basically oriented to manufacture a robot like student with an aim of getting placed during the placement visits of different companies. Most of the visitor companies are IT sector companies.

Yes, GTBIT provides scholarships to students. But, most of those internships are for Sikh students and may be a very few are for non-Sikh students.

Placements & job opportunities are a game of your knowledge of different programming language. Placements rate of my Institute is average and the only option that a student has at the time of placement is that either you will get a job in IT sector or you will have to try in off-campus opportunities (in case you are not interested in IT sector).

Different events are celebrated in GTBIT but, only two events, Freshers Party, Annual function ( Calles GATES), Theses are two main events of GTBIT. At fresher party, they usually call some Punjabi industry singer for entertainment. Annual function includes many events. Annual function lasts for 3 days. Almost all students of Institute participate actively you can enjoy these two events. But i always opted to celebrate outside institute with my friends.

Fee structure is feasible in respect of a Technical Degree at the time of counselling (Admission) partial amount of fee is to be paid to the University (As university fee/charges) and the remaining part is to be submitted in the Institute that is allotted to a student in counselling. and the admission process is complete when you deposit the fee in your institute this the fee structure for the first year only (Around INR 100000, After first year the total fee is to be deposited in the bank branch of your institute (It is around INR 87000).

Well, most of the scholarships offered by GTBIT are for Sikh students.But, as far as I am concerned the college is very helpful in availing Education loan to the student.

Campus life is great student can enjoy being in college along with their studies being a part of a College/Institute teach us lots of valuable facts. Extracurricular: Don't know much and i think there is nothing like ECA. Labs: 50-50 Game. Some labs are well occupied with good and working components and great faculty. But, on the other hand, some labs are just a time pass place with NO WORKING COMPONENTS sports: Yes, But totally dependent on students only.

There No hostel facility in GTBIT. But, in case you are not a Delhi resident then you can opt for PG (Paying Guest) facility. you can Easily get a PG in the nearby locality. NO NEED TO PANIC. There are many options of accommodations in Delhi. Many students live in PGs in Delhi.

The Admission process is very simple. After CET Exam all aspirants are assigned a particular rank as per their performance in CET. After that the University (GGSIPU) conducts common counselling for admissions in its affiliated institutes in TWO phases. Although my institute (GTBIT) do not participate in First phase of counselling for non-Sikh students i.e. in the first phase of counselling only Sikh students get admission in GTBIT. But, in the second phase of counselling, any student can get admission in GTBIT.

GTBIT has a highly qualified but, only very few of them are dedicated and motivated faculty comprising over 60 Professors, Asst. Professors and Lecturers, many of whom possess doctorates. Professor & Astt. Professors like Dr. Mukhopadhayay, Suneet Kaur, Prabhneet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Sandhu Sir, Chaubey Sir, Sahoo sir etc. are very Hardworking, Experienced, Dedicated and Cooperative. I'm Glad that most of them taught me during my Degree.
