Overall a good college with great emphasis on quality and standard education.

RGUHS entrance exam for merit seat. Padmashree Institute of Physiotherapy is one of the top ranked college for this course recognised and approved by RGUHS.

This is a 4.5 years intensive course with 6 months of compulsory internship in renewed hospitals. The subjects covered in the course are Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biomechanics, Surgery, Medicine, Pathology, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, Pediatrics etc.

Yes internship facility is available for a duration of 6 months. no stipend is provided during the internship period which is a major drawback for the students.

There was no on campus placements during our period of study for this course. However the situation might be different currently. On the contrary, most of our batchmates got selected into various hospitals like Fortis, Apollo, Manipal Hospitals etc. Packages vary from hospital to hospital and also depends on the type of clinical establishment.

All types of events like cultural meets, intercollege competitions, Sports meets, graduation parties, yearly trips etc were organised all India Association of Physiotherapy also conducted annual events in various states which included technical and cultural competitions.

General category seats fee structure is feasible which ranges from 8k to 15k management seat fee structure varies from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh per year which is obviously expensive for ordinary students. So better try and opt for general category merit seats.

No such loan or scholarship facility was available when we studied. The situation might be different currently.

Overall campus life was good. Gender ratio was equal almost and good cultural diversity was there. Lot of extracurricular activities and events organised by college and university as well. College fests paid lot of emphasis on learning cultures of various states which imbibed good vibes in students.

Hostel facilities were very good for girls. Rooms were on twin sharing basis. Clean, well ventilated, lighting was good, adequate storage facilities for books and clothes, housekeeping was good, good water facilities. Good and clean vegetarian and non-vegetarian food provided at canteen for nominal rates included in general hostel fee.

Alumni and seniors in college were always very helpful both in terms of academics and job related guidance.

Exam structure was initially chilled for us. We had yearly exams for the first 2 years and late RGUHS changed the exam structure and we had semester exams. Semester exams for us was very hectic since we had to prepare simultaneously for both theory and practical exams.

Entry was through a separate counselling conducted by RGUHS for merit seat selection. Notification for this counselling is published in all renowed newspapers every year. Based on your merit the seat allocation is done and the fee structure is nominal.

Faculty of this college are excellent. They are all from the same field with intensive clinical experience. Great emphasis is given to practical training with regular assessments in clinical settings. Faculty are always ready to help students and additional classes are conducted in regular intervals. Classes by visiting faculty are periodically arranged for the benefit of students.
