My college experience.

Thats a great platform for bright future. As our professors got Global exposure we were also blessed to have a small portion of that exposure during our stint. Finally college management was very good and encouraging kind.

ICET with Rank 1565 and I have selected this college because Andhra University Campus, Visakhapatnam got senior Professors.

MBA Course at our college was very good. We can select 2 Major Specialisations. Almost all specialisations are available in our college like Marketing Management, Finance, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, International Business where in I have selected Marketing and HR as my major Specialisations.

Yes. I have got opportunity to do internship at Goa and the company is Sesa Goa Ltd. Many companies came and offered internship programme for us. Ex: MRF, BHEL, Icici Bank, Birla Sun Life, JRG commodities, Hetero drugs, Reddys Lab etc.

We have got good offers from different companies after looking at our Placement Brochure. Few of us have been selected for Birla Sun Life as a Unit Manager, Bancassurance profile. Other companies like Bajaj Finance, India Bulls, Icici Pru Life and some BPO companies.

Many youth fesivals have been conducted during our 2yrs stint at Campus. Grand Annual youth festival at our Andhra University campus is one among the Events conducted where in students from entire nation has participated. Many cultural, sport and professional competitions were held in that event. Every moment at our campus was quite exciting. And also many professional seminars have been conducted by our college management.

Fees at our college is quite reasonable. There is a different fee structure based on different categories. For me O.C. the fees was 22000 per year i.e. for 2 semesters. For the same O.C. few free seats are available at 8000 per year. Where as it is almost nil for SC/ST. And there are other Management quota seats offered at a different fees structure. Hostel fees was around 10000 per year approx at that time.

That is there for only reserved castes or very high merit students. Moderate merit in O.C. category are not having any kind of encouragement in terms of Scholarship or any thing like that.

Gender Ratio was almost 60:40. Male Female basis. We have got great diversity of students from almost all religions and all castes. Different people with diversified background like Children of Business People, Political Persons, Government Officials And students from other countries are also there.

That was Average. Not bad not good. Hostels locations were the beautiful and nature friendly with 90% greenery. Huge open grounds can accomodate any kind of sport that we can play. We can play All indoor games and out door games. And TV room,Library available.

Ours is a great Alumni ever that I know. Seniors are always helpful. That was a great interaction with them and they have even referred some of us for different jobs.

Exam structure was very Good. There is no hectic schedule for us. Adequate gap is provided between subjects so that we have prepared well and finished our exams without any pressure. Exam venue was quiet peaceful with zero noice. Nice environment for writing exams.

Based on Rank in ICET. Counselling done at AU campus. Got amitted on Merit basis. Counselling was done in an organised manner. Students who got ranks were called up on for counselling in an order based on Rank. As my Rank is 1565, I got chance to admit in to Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Andhra University Campus, Visakhapatnam. We have been asked to submit all the prequalified certificates along with application form at the counselling centre and finally admission process completed.

They are the best Professors ever. They have done very good management research. And we are blessed enough to attend their classes, speeches and presentations. Some of the professors are globally exposed and they do give guest lectures for different colleges.
