Remarks
I applied for Maharaj Surajmal College. I didn't get admission because I don't have enough JEE main rank. I was also unable to get admission through Management Quota. In my college I.E.C College of Engineering and Technology, the admission criteria were based on your JEE main rank or 12 board marks or also UPTU entrance exam. For the 12th board, the minimum marks should be 70%.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many courses that the I.E.C College of Engineering and Technology provides. I chose B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering) since it is a dream of mine to create a Tech company. The faculty members are very helpful, supportive. Minimum Qualifications of Faculty members are M.Tech. Their teaching method is too good. They help us to visualize things rather than learning them forcefully. In each semester you have to give 4 exams .3 of them are international while the last one was external. Questions are quite tough but it all depends upon your presentation.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that offer internships. Well, I haven't applied for anyone. So I don't know much about it. One I know is Prutor , one of my friends is an intern there and getting a stipend. And they also provide internships for cybersecurity, web development, and many more.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are a large number of companies visit our campus for placement purposes. The most popular companies are Byjus, TCS, Wipro, etc. The highest Package is 8 lakh while the Average is 4-6 lakh. The percentage of Students who get placed is approximately 50%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Right Now the fee of B.Tech is approximately 90000 per year. You can also apply for a scholarship. In 1st year you will get a scholarship based on your 12 board exams. Then from the 2nd Year, you will get a scholarship based on your previous year's percentage. The percentage for each year should be more than 75%. Right now I haven't applied for any kind of internship, but my friends are doing some and they are getting good experience plus a stipend.
Campus Life
Well, the campus is quite big and also has big ground with game equipment plus it also has a big library. Every campus sponsor event name IECInnovision which offers many games of different varieties like sports, coding compilation and esports gaming competition, and much more at good prices. The campus provides many sports events. And it also has many clubs.
