About My University

I applied online for admission to Patna University for MBA. One must be a graduate from a recognized university in order to apply for admission to Patna University for MBA. Also one has to qualify MAT or CMAT for getting admission to Patna University for the above-mentioned course. At least 70 percentile in MAT is required to become eligible to get admission to the university. I got the same in MAT. I do not avail for quota. The minimum marks required as mentioned above is 70 percentile in MAT or CMAT for non-quota candidates. The minimum age required is 20 years for all. For admission, the university calls for counseling. One should go with the 10th, 12th, and graduation certificate and result of MAT or CMAT examination. The admission process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). One should clear the stages of GD and PI. After getting selected, the process of fee payment starts. An invoice of 50000 is generated as a fee for the university.

I chose MBA because of several reasons. One of them is my interest in business and marketing. Another reason is that it provides great scope for jobs if one wants to do initially in career. I want to become an entrepreneur in the future. That's why I opted for the course. As far as the faculty-student ratio of my campus is concerned it is 25:4. All of the facilities are highly qualified and they are having an efficient teaching method. They have experience of at least 10 years in teaching. They make us understand the concepts well and are always ready to solve our doubts and problems. They always motivate us to do on-field works and therefore give us assignments. There is a semester system for MBA in my university and therefore examinations are held every six months. The level of examination is moderate and one should be attentive in classrooms and study well in order to score good marks in the examination. Also, the marks are based on assignments done by us.

The Fee structure is satisfactory according to the facilities provided by the university. However, there is no opportunity to get a scholarship. Also, the number of companies that come for campus selection is quite disappointing. There is minimal possibility that one would get selected on campus and get a satisfactory job with a good package.

Life on campus is completely a new and exciting experience. The infrastructure is good. Also, the University organizes fests every year in the month of December, which gives students an opportunity to interact with the students of other places and get engaged in extra activities and enhance knowledge. Books of prominent writers are available in the library, which is really beneficial for students. Extracurricular activities are organized and professors also encourage students to participate in them. Also, many recognized personalities and entrepreneurs are invited to the campus by the authorities in order to guide and motivate students.
