Overview about my college- [GEC], Krishna

I applied to this college from APEAMCET and got a rank of 45000 and entered this college through the counseling process. I had applied for JNTUK, AU, and other universities but due to my high rank, I didn't get admission there. After counseling, I was made to submit my intermediate certification, and I did as they asked. On the first day of my college, went to the classroom while a class was going on. Lecturers are very friendly and clear any doubt regarding the subject. Food was average at the canteen and hostels. Transportation was good. College faculty takes good care of students. Friends are the most loved thing in college. We'll gain more knowledge and experience from them.

The course was awesome and teaching too. CSE has good scope in the future and we are getting very good teaching. Laboratories are a bit older but we used to manage. Internships are provided by the college and are very helpful. There will be WIFI provided by the college for each person having a laptop (personal). We have the freedom to attend or skip classes based on our interests. Online or offline teaching was excellent.

An internship project has to be done to get experience about work. We have to pay for internships, I paid around 5,000 to get my internship done. It helps a lot in gaining work experience. Certificates will have high priority at the time of placements. More the certificates higher the chance to get a job.

Campus placements are rich for persons with talent, others have to search for jobs out of campus, and will be more difficult. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc, will recruit every year in a bulk amount. Opportunities are rich for computer-based jobs. I'm in 4th year and companies are yet to recruit. Packages will be high according to the pride of that company. The minimum package will be 2 LPA. The maximum package for previous year students is about 10 LPA.

College charges 81660 per annum as tuition fee. There will be other charges like group accidental policy, special fee, etc. Hostels charge around 50,000 per year. Cost is worthy for the study that they provide. The scholarship will be provided by the college and charges some amount for attending. Job opportunities are rich for CSE, ECE, IT students. Around 300-400 placements will be provided for all branches. Talent makes it easier to get placements.

College provides clubs for communication, sports, etc. Students can join any club according to their wishes. Extracurricular activities like yoga, activities at any event are provided. There is a basketball court, Kabaddi court, badminton court, ground for athletes. But students lack time for sports. There is a separate club for board games like chess, Carrom board, table tennis, etc.
