Internships Opportunities
No there is no particular internship system in mjcet. but they can work in any paid project under professors who got grants. so it would be wise for aspirants to try hunting company internship programs and do not rely on college for it.
Placement Experience
There are many companies who visit college for placements and majority of them are IT based such as accenture, wipro, Lnt tech, satyam mahindra, infosys and many more. there are few core companies who look for specific field students such as redpine, oracle, microsoft and gammon.
College Events
There are many events and the main one is adsophos. It has many categories such as paper presentations, posters on research, to public speaking, fun events, sports, cultural galas, tech events such as robotic soccer, robotic wrestling, making stuff from waste, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged is INR 82,200 per year for all students in all branches of engineering as per the revised fee structure by the state government in 2013. NRI fee for the four year B.E course is : Rs 1 to 2 lakhs. But student can avail state and central scholarship by providing the low income certificate.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year there is an alumni meet and dinner organised by the Alumnus and it is very nice to be a part of it. It helps in networking and interacting with alumni who have reached to very top levels in different fields in many countries.
Admission
You need to qualify for eamcet which is a state entrance examination. Based on EAMCET counselling and then with a min 12th percentage of 60. You get to list the order of preference in the available seats in different streams. Apart from that you get to pay the fee on that spot. After a year you have the chance to slide in to any other stream if any student gets detained in that steam.
Faculty
The faculty at mjcet is very qualified and has phds, master grads, to teach based on the experience the courses are offered. faculty has experience of more than 10 years atleast and they have significant research experience as well. The faculty has phds mostly from national universities only. So there is not much international culture we can see in faculty.
