College Name- Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of management and development research Course- PGDM Business Design (2020-2022) First, we have to fill the application form of welingkar college. The fees of the application form are around 2000Rs. In the application form, we have to upload all documents like 10th, 12th, graduation mark sheets, and CAT/cmat/Xat marksheet. For shortlisting you should have: Cut off CAT- 75% XAT- 75% CMAT- 80% ATMA- 80% GMAT- 600 marks More than 50% in graduation If you are shortlisted then you will have a GDPI round Parameters. weightage CAT/XAT/ CMAT/ 35%, ATMA/ GMAT, GDPI. Academic performance 65% Extracurricular Activities after GDPI in 15-30 days, you will get results. If you are selected then you have to pay fees

The institute offers this course with a view to enable and make the student capable of handling and designing for various business stratergies. Their main aim is to make designers understand how managers handle the business. You will definitely have an advantage of visiting facult every weekly but the course content may be more about vague subject with min focus on any core area like finance, marketing, hr.

Many companies come for internship placement at welingkar. most of them also give stipends. The internship is around 2 months. It starts in May and ends in July. Companies like Morgan Stanley, GEP offer a 50-60k stipends.

Placements are quite good in the institute. Welingkar has multiple study rooms, brilliant IT infrastructure. From a knowledge perspective, they have a wide range of books in the library, audio/video room where you can select and play informative videos. It also has an ocean of case studies that you can study.

The process of selection at welingkar consists of Group discussion and personal interviews. Before entering the GD room, the coordinator will inform you about your GD sequence and you need to occupy the same seat inside gd room with a badge clipped on your clothes. You are given a place card on which topic is written. They give 5 mins to note down the points, 15 mins of gd discussion and 10 mins of writing a summary of gd topic.
