Remarks
I had applied for IIT but according to merit list I got admission in SVNIT. I applied in SC category for admission. For getting admission in SVNIT one must need to give JEE mains and get above cut-off marks. One must pass 12th boards to get admission. Admission process was easy and there was one week counselling from college.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the best course in SVNIT and I wanted to apply for mechanical engineering. There is enough faculty in the college for proper teaching. All professors are well qualified and they have good teaching methods. There is semester system in the college and exams are about what they teach in class
Internships Opportunities
They give various internship opportunities and with good stipend. They offer internships in third year. TnP section offers you internships in different companies. They act as intermediates and they will directly give you internships in the best companies.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. MNCs visit in our college and they do offer good salary. Highest packages is 20lakhs/annum Avg -7lakhs/annum There is 70-80%placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
For reservation fees are 3000/yr but for general category they have tution fees. There are scholarship for low income families. Also there are scholarships for toppers. There is very good placement in the campus.
Campus Life
There are cultural and technical fests, sports activities, freshers, farewells, tournaments. There is a well equipped library and there are enough books regarding the course . There are various groups for every activities.
Hostel Facilities
There are enough rooms in hostel for students. And there are single rooms for girls hostel. The food served in hostel is of best quality and has good variety. The hostel is affordable and the registration process is very easy.
