Remarks

I chose IBS and not other colleges because according to me it has better ROI which one wants after getting into a college. Sports quota may be available. 50% in academics is a must to get into IBS, a first process which is giving the exam of IBSAT needs you to have above 50%.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosing this course made me face the practical world and exposed me to different parts of the managerial world too. Teachers are humble and friendly and they help you from the first year till the time you get placed. Guidance from them is very needed and helpful as well. We have midterm exams and the final exams as well.

Internships Opportunities

IBS Mumbai provides internship opportunities from various companies ranging from various sectors financial sectors, banking, consumer goods, pharma, consulting, telecom. The project tasks start from sales and marketing tasks to research work. Examples of companies: Aditya Birla, Jio Labs, SD Corp, Outlook group, Fanatisch etc.

Placement Experience

Hundreds of companies visit IBS during placements. Some of them being Google, Oracle, Aditya Birla, LnT, Byjus, JP Morgan etc. 99% of the students are getting placed. There's a placement committee as well and you're under different faculty mentors. The package starts from 4 lakhs per annum to 10 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is 8 lakhs for 2 years. The scholarship amount depends upon the percentage you get in your semester (above 80%). Many banks are up for financial assistance from the public sector to the private sector and financial assistance HDFC, Axis etc.

Campus Life

Classrooms are well spacious, ac classrooms, etc. Extra activities like club activities, fests like Konflux etc are taken care of. Social groups like clubs for eg Kautilya (Finance Club), marketing 360 & Markophilia (Marketing Club), here you get a good network and good exposure towards people and different happenings.

Interview Experience

Some basic topics of general knowledge and current affairs for example Cryptocurrency, Politics and questions like telling me about yourself, Why MBA, Why IBS, questions on your past records, etc are asked.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
