My college experience

I only applied for Adamas University. I did not avail any quota. A minimum of 50% marks is necessary for admission. The admission process is smooth. First, you have to visit your student counsellor in the Adamas Knowledge City and they will let you know of everything you need in order to get admission. When the payment and every other formality is sorted, there will be an orientation programme to introduce the students to the university and after that, there will be a small session with the concerned department where there will be many fun activities. There the students will come to know their faculties.

The course in the university is very helpful. There are many ways that you will learn new things. I chose this course because of the affection I had from my childhood. The teachers are all very well qualified and Very much friendly. They will help you whenever you need anything you need. They become your friends. The exams are conducted very timely even in this pandemic situation where other universities are cancelling their exams Adamas is conducting exams at the right time every semester.

The college has a dedicated application for internship and placement issues. They also have partnered with Internshala to give chances to students in internships. Many of my fellow classmates have enrolled for internships there.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. Many students get placement from Byju's, Unacademy etc. I plan to go for higher studies after my course. I plan to do masters in English Literature.

The fee structure is simple. You will be charged a fraction of the course fee when you are getting admitted and after that, you will pay the decided amount every semester or 6 months. Hostel charges you their fee every 6 months and caution money is taken first when you book a room.

Social life is very healthy in Adamas. The campus is ragging free and also smoking and drinking is prohibited. There is a canteen for students and also there is a cafeteria where students can gossip. Cafe coffee day, Panda Junction all is there for them. In the respective departments, there are vending machines where every student can get whatever they want paying the price. Other than that football ground, tennis ground etc. all is there.

The Hostel rooms come with a bed, a wardrobe, a table and a chair. Two tube lights are in the room with two fans. Cooking is not allowed in the room as the fooding is also included with the hostel fees. Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, Dinner all is served. Smoking or drinking is prohibited.
