Entrance Preview
I took the entrance examination of GSIPU (indraprastha university) for the BBA course in 2015. The entrance test is conducted in the month June and the aptitude test comprises of Logical reasoning, maths, english and general awareness. I chose this particular course in this university because IP university is one of the oldest and most reputable university in Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good and elaborate. The BBA course consists of 6 semesters and is a 3 year course. The curriculum includes various subjects such as business economics, business maths, POM, Indian economy, taxation and various other subjects. The structure of the course gives special emphasis on the research and practical knowledge too.
Internships Opportunities
No, my college doesn't provide any internship. But the students are required to do an internship for 2 months in the 4th semester and submit a summer training report for the same along with a presentation.
Placement Experience
The placement is around 95% for the BBA course. Big names like trident, wipro, genpact, TCS are regular to our college. The highest package for BBA course was 9.5 lakh per annum which was offered by trident hotels in the year 2015. And as many as 10-15 student were placed. The average package is - 2.70 lakh per annum.
College Events
Maharaja Surajmal Institute of successfully organises Avensis & Genesis, the Annual Fest of MSI on 3rd and 4th February, 2016. The event is a phenomenal success in all aspects and witnesses massive footfall in all the events that are held in the 2-day extravaganza.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very very feasible and affordable. The fee for the BBA course is 67,000/- Rs for 2 semester (1 year) Which roughly sums up to 201000/- Rs for the entire 3 years course. Compared to the private universities and colleges, the fees is very much affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, any scholarship is not offered by our college. The fees of the college is already very affordable. Thus, the college doesn't provide any scholarship. However, loan facility is available within the bank inside the college campus. Oriental bank of commerce provides the loan facility to the students.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is nearly 50-50. However you may notice more girls in the college. The college is very diverse and people of all ethnicity, race and culture studies together.
Exam Structure
The exams structure is not at all hectic but requires the students to perform good. there is 1 internal of 75 marks each in one semester. This internal exam includes the syllabus of final examination and students are given 2.5-3 hours to complete the test. This internal is generally conducted 1 month before the external examination and students are marked out of 25.
Faculty
The faculty in no doubt of this college is highly qualified and experienced. All the professors are P.hd in their respective subject. Along with great knowledge they are also very supportive and friendly. They give utmost importance to their subject and are very keen to impart the subject knowledge to the students.
