Overal it will be one hell of an experience the management is not perfect but does try it's best to attain best results svnit is now the second best nit in India the greenery in the campus is very soothing and infrastructure is mind blowing overall u will make some of ur best memories in the college.

AIEEE, I scored 213 out of 360 and I opted for bachelor in Mechanical Engineering because of my love for machines.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects are carefully distributed semester wise in order to get a proper idea of all the fields in mechanical engineering (industry management manufacturing designing fluids etc.) the choice of electives are not just bounded to mechanical stream for second year but for third and final year the electives are of the same stream .People interested in research can have access to one of the best labs in India in the college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they do 10k is the average stipend the faculties are experienced and are very helpful .SVNIT has some of the best labs in india though for u to learn it is u who has to take initiative to approach for internship and it is necessary to have a good academic performance.
Placement Experience
Placements are okay and the percentage might vary but it is still better than most of the colleges in India along with core companies lot of analytics companies and startups also approach the institute. The average package varies from 4 to 5 lakh in mechanical companies like exl grofers tcs npcl cairn etc approach the institute for placements.
College Events
Mind-bend techno managerial fest is the biggest of its kind kn Gujarat with lot of participants from different parts of India sparsh is the cultural fest and lasts for 4 days one can enjoy vishal Shekhar Kailash Kher concerts and can also participate in the various competitions that institute organised. Along with these there are MANY other small budget fests that different societies of the college organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is pretty standard like any other nit the figure has been changed last year and one can see the exact figure on institutes website the fees is comparatively cheaper than private colleges although there are many scholarship programs that exempts ure fees if u meet the right criteria.
Fees and Financial Aid
One can take a loan from Sbi bank that is built in the college grounds which have very student friendly clauses the college has a scholarship program but students with category or having low income can avail it certain academic criteria also needs to be fulfilled to attain the same.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are okayish and depends on which hostel u get to stay .although hostel infra is far better than most of the government colleges and the food too the hostels are big and have enough seats .the figure varies with the type of room (sharing or single each hostel has night canteen and Laundary rooms as some extra facilities .
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network still needs to be improved but the senior students are very helpful if u want to survive in the college it is very important to befriend some of ure seniors.
Exam Structure
Mid semester exams and end semester exams take place in one semester which usually last for 5 days each the lab practicals are pretty chilled out and not very stressful your final cg does not totally depend on ure exam performance but it does get significantly affected by them doing regular tutorials and selective studying could help u to score well.
Admission
Once you acquire a seat in the college you need to report on the specified date along with documents specified on the official website mark-sheets, admission card etc. You have to report to the college admin and the concerned people will guide u for the next steps which are basically documents verification form filling fees submission etc college admin is very helpful and will provide u a proper guideline for the same.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are experienced and very cooperative but some do not match the status of a national level college it's a shameful truth in most of the colleges in India the teaching assistants are normally not very interested in teaching and are generally cool with mass bunks however if u really want to learn or do some research it is very easy to approach a faculty the faculties are very cooperative and appreciates such efforts.
