R.Venkatesh's Review On Hindusthan College Of Engineering And Technology - [HICET], Coimbatore

TANCET Examination Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology is a dream college for everyone who born in around coimbatore. Being a coimbatore an no wonder i chose to prefer Hindustan college over other.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is the hot course in the Engineering admissions every year. There are lot of learnings available in the course especially in electronics and computer related field. Research labs are available to the expect level of the student.

As per my knowledge in my time of course no internship was provided by our college. But the industrial visit experience gained us more knowledge than internship which was fully sponsored by our college.

There are more than hundred companies listed for the placement and job opportunities for students provided by our college. Every year there will be a campus interview and more number of students got placed in more prestigious companies all over india with good package of salary.

Annual day celebrations, culturals. Especially HILARICUS a well known culturals which ll be celebrated every year on february 14 which is a grand one and popularly known amongst the youngsters of other colleges also. because its celebrated on February 14(Valentine's day).

Fee structure is nominal as per the guidelines issued by Govt of Tamilnadu. We can pay the fee if the fee is paid using bank loan it ll be given for the year. if we are not using bank loan then for every semester we can pay the fee. Say 21000 per semester was charged during my time.

I have availed a scholarship which is not given by our college but by govt of tamilndau. But it was applied through my college only. They are ready to help in every way. And also i studied through bank loan only and it was well tackled by the accounts officers available in the college.

Gender ratio is mostly 50-50 only. Basically engineering students do not have much of parties rather than culturals available in college. sports activities will be conducted every year and we are encouraged to participate in much of the sports. Labs facilities are always good well equipped with all equipments for students.

I do not have much connection with my seniors. My alumni network is little bit in touch using our Hindustan college facebook page. All alumni related programs conducted in our college will be displayed in that facebook page.

All the exams are well planned with in the stipulated structure given by anna university to the branch colleges under it. Lab schedules and exams will be conducted in the manner as per the schedule given by Anna university, Chennai. It was really chilled out experience not a hectic one.

By govt Counselling. As per standard procedure of tamilnadu govt engineering admissions wrote entrance test and attended counselling chose the preferred college of my interest none other than Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.

All the faculty are well Knowledge and well experienced in the field of engineering with no compromise in their experience only ME graduates are appointed as staffs rather than BE graduate as like other colleges. The depth in their knowledge makes us wonder to achieve more in our life.
