Honest and Bitter fact

Applied for NIT/IIT but didn't qualify with good marks. I took admission in this college with obc quota. Admission based on UPSEE exam and need to score 250+/600 for IT branch but now admission will be on basis of your JEE score whereas there is no age limit for taking admission.

Chosen the IT branch because of its good placement record and also I am also fond of the technical world. Faculty members are good enough to provide supports in many fields and also they are well educated and qualified to teach the students. Exams are conducted at the scheduled time and one 1 week of preparation is enough before the exam to clear the sem.

Currently, I didn't get any internship program offered by our college so currently didn't have enough info on this topic since I am second year student but I get to know that our seniors did internships conducted by different IIT's which let to know us by our college.

Students become eligible from 6th sem for getting placed Very few companies visited in our college like Wipro, TCS, HCL etc and they offer the maximum package up to 3-5lpa The highest package was up to 5-6 lakh and the average is 3-4 lakh. 40-50% of students getting placed after recruitment. So overall placement record in our college is not fair. I plan to crack the GATE exam for MTech and also apply for the PGDM course in management.

Fees of the college are average and financially week students also can afford it and even though they can be awarded scholarships provided by the Uttar Pradesh government. and you will get refunded 100% of your tuition fee. and currently, I didn't get any job since I am still pursuing my course.

The name of our cultural fest is "Spandan" and conducted in b/w Jan-Feb whereas tech fest is Hackathon and TEQIP and they generally conducted in winter months Dec-Jan. Few books are available in the library. Many sports activities are organized in our college like cricket, badminton, volleyball etc. Many clubs are run by our seniors and even by us like DSC, Jagriti club, Dhruva club etc.

Hostel facility is worst and very Unhygiene even bathroom and toilets were not cleaned regularly and in every room, there is 3 bedroom with separate almirah, chairs and tables for every student in a room and even wifi is not working properly in the hostel and registration is done during the admission process of students.
