I got my Admission through MAT exam in which i scored 90.10 but now its even harder to get admission as the cut off is increasing with every semester and there is a very competitive environment for admission. I only applied to a single college it was in my hometown and easily accessible and was in the top 5 list of Institutes for MBA in India in the category of Value for money. No, I didn't apply with any quota though there are various quota's for admission like sports, army child, SC, ST, OBC, Economically backwards etc. The minimum requirement is to have a bachelor's degree everything is counted from your school academic's to college and also the MAT/ CAT score. Earlier in the day, the documentation was verified then we were divided into groups with random sample sizes, got assigned a number and room for the GD process for 20 mins then later we were told to wait for our turn for the PI session. Everything was conducted promptly and was pre planned. No out of the blue curveballs were thrown, though the documents verification was way too strict as if you forgot a required document you needed to make it available asap, rest everything was smooth....Read More

For the admission purpose, one needs to give either CAT OR MAT Exam, the student should be a graduate and the minimum age is 21. Earlier I applied for the IMS but the location of the college doesn't suit me at all so I dropped the IMS JAMMU. No quota was availed by me to take admission in TBS JAMMU. You need to have 50% minimum marks in your graduation to take admission in tbs Jammu. To take admission here you need to have a good percentile in mat per cat examination on that basis you are selected for gd or pi round....Read More
