HSC- At 12th i scored 935 and that time engineering was boom. So got seat there and joined. You need to opt for computer science or biology group as a base then followed. I was in computer science department and engineering was the only graduation in trend.
Course Curriculum Overview
The real picture is the following: First under anna university all the colleges follow anna university syllabus and they do provide books and notes as materials you need to buy one question bank to pass and then please be informed that no won't gain any engineering activity at college time.
Internships Opportunities
NO, THEY DON'T BPO's came and some project centre companies. And they will provide a nice package of 1L per annum.
Placement Experience
Too Poor. 1st this college is some leaves in the branch of anna university tree. So companies pour water only to the roots not to the Leaves, Practically speaking. Also either do in anna university or big university.Or else don't do. Better don't some course for 5k which will help you alot.
College Events
Symposium- which is common in all colleges we too had, It is one bad time yar. At that time too your juniors wont participate and you cant add any color too it, There is no sports. If they say it is sports day then it is PT Period you will become a men/women without physic and mental.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is the only adavantge, If you really want to do some engineering not for money or job. Then do it here. At one KTM duke bike rate you can complete the course here don't take much leave, You need to pay for each leave, its true i paid all semester equal to my fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
First scholar can only get this, Other than above nothing is provided. Even if you score high you wont get a penny for sure. But anna university will, no good scorer can opt this college. Which is different scenrio.
Campus Life
Don't talk to girls, If you do so have 100rs note with you to pay fine. Funny part is: they will handover unit exams papers to your parents or family. But you can get brother's outside if lucky you will get good friends of your taste,then you can enjoy or else you ruined 4 years of your life. No competitions are conducted. Sports no way.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and Hostel food is horrible good at fasting times and it is not compulsory. So you can take a room and cook on own. Rooms for rent is easily available and it is in main route,you can get anything you want. Bus auto food hotels coffee shop tea kadai are all available in walking distance.
Alumni/Alumna
I am a senior and there is no alumni for us and seniors are also same like us they are survivors and they can help you but unfortunately there life will also in stake.
Exam Structure
Anna university syallabus and anna university structure. It is one lame structure, whether let it be practical or theoritical both is of no use, Question bank is enough is pass. Don't waste time in learing all topics which is of no use they ask repeated question.
Admission
Anna university is the bridge to get into engineering and they do allocate seats first on your caste basis then only marks, So better do engineering outside or have fun engineering with autonomous. You can also join in management but for management every college has different fee structure. NPSB is affordable only, compared to other engineering.
Faculty
In my college the faculty are teachers and Engineering college is another school after 12th you will be doing 13th that is it, Wherever you go all colleges focused on making you pass. It is always better to google than asking a faculty.
