Remarks
I'm studying in MITS, Gwalior. The admission process is quite flexible. I myself haven't faced any problem. If you're going to take admission here keep in mind they don't accept cheques but cash or DD. The whole admission process happens in a disciplined manner. The only fault with the process, it consumes your complete day.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as beautiful as the campus. All the faculties are supportive, well qualified and experienced. We do have our mid-sems after 2 months from the start of the semester and next one in almost 45 days from it and viva followed by semester exams in December or May. By end of every year, there's an In-house internship being provided by the college in which you can choose whatever course you want.
Internships Opportunities
MITS, Gwalior provides summer internships for 1st and 2nd-year students and that's an in-house internship program offered by the college and mandatory for all students. This internship is of a month and starts in June.
Placement Experience
College give opportunity to 4th year student to apply for campus placement and by the month of September companies start interviewing students. There's plenty of companies visiting MITS including Amazon, Byjus, Samsung, etc. According to 2020, MITS, Gwalior have the highest package of 24 LPA and lowest of 3.6 LPA and 80% of student get selected in the college placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm a student of Electronics and Telecommunications and for my course odd semester fee is approx 37000 and even semester fees is approx 33000. You may get many scholarship here like medhavi etc. Scholarship process with college is simple and flexible.
Campus Life
MITS, Gwalior has 60+ active clubs and societies. If you're a multitasking person you can enjoy your college life to the fullest. I'm myself a part of 2 clubs and society. These clubs and society provide spice to your daily college routine by organizing different events, workshops, competitions, etc. All the clubs and society are being run by students under the guidance of the club's/society's faculty coordinator. All the course books are available in the library. Many referable books and question banks are there to help you study well. There's too many sports and seperate grounds for them (like basket ball group, football ground, volleyball ground, badminton court, etc and TT table). College gives an opportunity to NCC too. Not Only sports but dance, singing and all other cultural activities are praised and acknowledge here. Nukaad-Natak is one of my favorite among them.
