Central University Of Jammu (MBA)

I applied for MIET Jammu but didn't enroll thereafter knowing about the fact that there is fewer placement opportunities there. Didn't availed quota for taking admission. In the Central University Of Jammu for taking admission, you should have minimum 50% marks in the graduation and you have to clear their entrance exam known as "CUCET" and after that GD/PI is conducted. On my counseling day they gave me few questions related to the marketing sector and ask for my suggestions that how a company can improve his marketing skills.

I have chosen for this course to make my career in the Private sector and i always wanted to know that how marketing plays a key role in the development of business. There are 7 teachers and 42 students in the batch. The teachers in the university is highly qualified and have done multiple degrees like MBA, Mphil, Phd, etc., and follow an effective approach in their teaching method. The term exams conduct on a particular time and is a little bit difficult to clear.

Comapnies like Coca Cola, Byju's provides the opportunity of internships to the students and generally they gave tasks like increasing their sales, business development and provides avg. stiepnd about 7k-9k. Like i got the task of the business development during my internship period.

After the examinations of 4th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements in the university. Companies like Coca Cola, Byju's, HDFC, Yes Bank, etc visits the university campus for giving the placement offers and usually offers the average salary of 5-7lakh p.a. Central university ensuress that 100% of students will get the placements from the campus and make their future bright and secure in their respective fields.

The fees hike policy is very affordable here as i had paid only INR 28000 in my first year and even the university also provides scholarship opportunities to the students which helps them to bear not a single penny as their university fee. Companies like Byju's, HDFC, Coca Cola visits the campus for internships and provide the average stipend around 8000-9000.

Events like annual day, world tourism day, yoga day is celebrated in the university by the faculty members and students together. The library of the central university is really huge and contains a variety of latest editions of books and journals. The classrooms are projector-oriented and have a smart class environment in the classroom. Extracurricular activities like NSS and various sports matches conduct in the university time to time. ABVP is a social group run by students in the university.

The topic of my GD was "Artificial Intelligence" and after clearing the GD round the candidate get a call/email from the university regarding the next step i.e. PI which takes place in the university campus and after that the candidate will get a confirmation call from the university regarding his/her selection. I prepared for these rounds with the help of social media and by taking few tips from my older ones.
