College Infrastructure The infrastructure of Lovely Professional University is very good. It is spread in vast 600 acres. No university or IIT can match it in terms of infrastructure. Each and everything is available in campus-like high-tech labs, classrooms with AC, library, etc. Mess food is also good. On-campus sports facility is also available like badminton, combat sports, swimming, etc. Academics Teachers are very good and helpful. All teachers are postgraduate in their respective fields. Teaching quality is also good. Course structure is also good and it definitely makes student industry ready if they are focused. Semester exams are quite easy if you concentrate in class. 40 percent above is required to pass. Placements Around 50-60 percent students are placed in B.Tech computer science all streams. Well, being a student of Uptu private engineering college is itself torture. Most of the time its annoying. NIET is a college where you make it very clear that you are not going to get any exposure to exhibit your cultural or other extra talents. Because they do not focus on it, at all. What they will help you to get through is, to score well in university examinations, and to some extent will get you placed. When I say place, means they will get your placement done, but it will not be as you desire to get. It's merely for the namesake. The administration is very weak and rude. They would hardly consider any of your points regarding issues in college. You may feel very much pissed off being a student at NIET. It's better you explore for more options than thinking of NIET. Their numbers for placements are just fake(as I told you about the type of placements they will provide you). My personal experience has not been that good here, so I won't suggest you to get to it.

Life at Niet has Two Cases:- (1)Hosteler (2)Day Scholar for Hostler:- Before telling you about life at Niet, i need to tell you that Niet has two campuses namely Main campus(for 2,3 and 4th year) and Campus for 1st year Let's start with first year if you a hosteler then life is complete mess as there are two hostels Flat hostel(2 and 1 capacity rooms) and om hostel(3 and 4 capacity rooms) But the worst part is college mess in starting they give good food but as the time passes the quality of food is really bad. Paneer is not like milk paneer i guess they use soya paneer, Second thing if you thinking food for 2nd year hostel will be different then you are wrong mess is same for both campus But things go worse when you choose hostel again in second year rooms finish before starting (limited space) (this was not the case with first year hostel) For day scholars life is kind of easy going but if they travel from delhi or far places then again journey is tiresome Good luck
