ups and down of NIET

In upsee I got enough marks that I can apply and get admission in any AKTU private college since my sibling was also from the niet so my second choice after IET, Lucknow was NIET, gr Noida. Direct admission in NIET is quite difficult you have to score more than 90% for CSE they said, but through counselling, anyone can get easily into this college. There was a great experience on counselling day everything went smooth I was requested to submit certain forms along with anti ragging certificate, affidavit etc. also we have to submit our board original marks sheets there for verification and it will be submitted for at least a year they said to me.

First, let's discuss about curriculum ,I rate curriculum 5 stars, I consider NIET to be one of the best in our country curriculum wise since it is an autonomous inistitute it decides its own curriculum you get the latest technology syllabus and labs equipped with state of art equipments there. facult student ratio is near to 1:19 at least it is what they said it in orientation. faculty is average there you also got some excellent faculty some are new but they are willing to teach you not like government college highley qualified teachers who lost there intrest in teaching students.

There are certain labs like BMW, ADAM, Benz, skill next PTC lab which is established with an investment of 40 cr. etc at niet where you can go for internship at NIET as per I know there is not much industry exposure for internship.

From the 7th semester, companies start visiting campus the main recruiter of NIET is TCS which hires in bulk and others hire in small quantity some of them are hcl, Accenture, Capgemini, Indian army, Indian navy, Vivo, etc. In session 2020 they claim 4.04 lakh average salary and 30 lpa highest domestic package and 25 lpa highest international package. Nearly every student get placed eighter with an average or below average package based on their skills. NIET will provide everything that is required to but you have to do it on your own if you want to aim for the sky. I am planning for a master in abroad.

At this point, I have to pay 1lakh 51thousand in the first year and near to 1.13lakh*3 in the next 3 years which is quite okay-okay not too much. they can hike the fee at any point in time this is written on the terms and conditions of the fee. Bihar residents can apply for Bihar credit card loan financing here also there is some scheme for Jammu and Kashmir residents UP residents can apply for up scholarship most of us got near to 50K scholarship and other state residents can apply at national scholarship portal you will get less than up scholarship but anything is better than nothing.

I don't have much idea about life at the campus since we are from the online batch but ya I spent exam time at end of the semester there campus size is small still they managed to utilise every corner of that campus.

there are two hostels one om hostel and another flat hostel for first tear scholars om hostel is 3 seater but it is great if you want to get real hostel experience om is the best place rooms are bigger, you will find the common bathroom a common gallery for exit and entrance of the whole floor so clearly you interact with nearly each of your hostel mate that is a nice experience, the mess is also great but you will be bored of mess meal you will need at least once a week swiggy or zomato to save you. the hostel is quite okay neither too expensive nor cheap
